Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist, global health facilitator and communications advisor, Hannah Vaughan Jones, has joined Incisive Health as Senior Counsel to support the rapid growth in our international team.

As a CNN anchor and Sky News presenter Hannah covered stories of global significance in health, politics and current affairs. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her coverage of the Manchester Arena attack in 2017 for CNN International.

Hannah has continued her impressive career moderating on the international stage. From hosting the opening of a World Health Assembly in Geneva, moderating at the World Health Summit in Berlin, facilitating the inaugural WHO Partners’ Summit in Stockholm, to hosting the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit in California. She is regularly called upon by the World Health Organization and its partners, most recently in Paris for the first high level dialogue on eliminating meningitis, and the informal retreat of the WHO’s Executive Board in Doha.

Hannah regularly interviews world leaders, thought leaders, future leaders and policymakers. She single-handedly moderated a London Malaria Summit for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation involving 14 Heads of State and His Majesty King Charles III.

Hannah will primarily work with Incisive Health’s international team and she has already worked with Incisive Health in delivering international policy events, and as Senior Counsel will provide guidance to clients on messaging and engagement on global health issues.

However, Hannah’s impressive CV also includes interviews with three of the last four UK prime ministers – experience that the UK team and clients will be keen to utilise in the run up to the UK General Election.

Commenting on her appointment, Hannah Vaughan Jones said:

“I’m passionate about Global Health policy and communicating with impact and authenticity. I’ve had the privilege of supporting incredible organisations such as the WHO, multiple philanthropic foundations and cancer control advocates, as well as civil society groups pushing  for equity in health leadership.

“I’m thrilled to have been asked to join Incisive Health – a consultancy renowned for its health policy expertise and cut through. I look forward to supporting clients alongside a fantastic team.”

Louise Abbott, Head of International Practice at Incisive Health, said:

“We are thrilled to have Hannah join the Incisive Health family, to lend her unique experience and insights – both professional and personal – in health policy and communications to the industry leading work that we do. Hannah’s support will help us to continue to expand our offer to existing and prospective clients.”
